El Olivo Restaurante

Best dinner we had in Tenerife. We had a large group, order a variety of dishes and all were great. Kids tried almost all of the kids meniu, and no complaints there. I had rice in broth with seafood - simply amazing. Lots of fresh sea food, broth was great. Lobster soup - very good, creamy and tasty. Seafood Paella - also very good and tasty, would definitely recomend. Service was perfect, very friendly staff, had great chat after dinner!

El Olivo is a standout. The meat paella was absolutely stunning—rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The Canarian potatoes were spot on, simple but done right. On top of that, the service was excellent from start to finish. Easily a place I’d recommend without hesitation.

The food is amazing. We have ordered Andalisian gaspacho and octopus Galician style for the starter, for the main stone bass fillet Bilbao style, Panadera baked potatoes and pepper sauce and for the dessert cheesecake. Everything was so delicious, that we went there the next day and ordered bread with tomato and garlic, chopitos and rabbit dish, for the dessert bombon caffe and Catalan cream, again- everything delicious. The staff takes care of you from the very beginning, we didn’t have to ask for additional plate, they just knew we will share the dishes, the sense of humour on point, you feel like spending time with people you know. I would advise to make a reservation, both days the restaurant was nearly full, on the second day we made a reservation via whats app, very convinient. Thank you El Olivo :)

We came twice for dinner during our week long stay in south Tenerife. Was looking for good vibe and authentic Spanish cuisine. El Olivo is fantastic with both. We liked all the tapas and main dishes we had there. Our 7-year old loved the Black Rice with baby squid so much thay we had an en-core. Last but not least, all the staff were super friendly and very cool with children. Simply the best. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience

Surprisingly good; and the service was excellent. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. We loved all our choices, but the chuletón was really testing and tender. I really recommend this place. We were trying to avoid the touristy place but we were very happy with our experience. Thank you, guys!!

On my own, I asked if they could do a single piella, no problem. Rabbit and chicken. Absolutely wonderful. The house wine is very nice. Was half expecting to be charged twice for the piella as there was so much but no. 38 euros plus a tip. 3 big glasses of wine

Lovely food and great service for dinner this evening with my toddler. Portions were huge and food came out quickly. They were happy to make small changes to the dishes for my toddler (no added salt/sauces to the side etc). Octopus was lovely. Paella was over seasoned for my taste. Really nice staff!
